Financial Officer and Internal Auditor Recruitment and Development Program
The Financial Officer and Internal Auditor Recruitment and Development Program (FORD/IARD) is a program that helps managers recruit and develop financial officers and internal auditors in order to support stewardship, risk management, performance, accountability and appropriate control of resources.
The Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) and specifically the Office of the Comptroller General manages the program on behalf of government organizations.
The program helps build strong partnerships and networks with client departments and agencies, academia, professional accounting associations and alumni. High quality on-the-job training is provided and forms a solid foundation for professional growth.
The program operates one recruitment campaign each year. Clients are able to request candidates from a pre-qualified pool at any time during the year.
