Information concerning the new online test administration manual

New On-Line Test Administration Manual
Effective March 16th, 2010
Please note that the on-line test administration manual, which is used in administering proctored on-line tests, has been recently updated. The modifications include:
- The addition of material addressing questions asked by test administrators (For example: Can test takers leave early?)
- The addition of new Privacy, Unauthorized Disclosure of Test Content, and Cheating Statements (these statements were added to augment test security, and they will appear on each test taker’s monitor)
- The inclusion of a Checklist of Key Points to help remind administrators about important content in the manual
- General editing.
Both the administration manual that is currently used (May 2009) and the new version (March 16, 2010) will be posted at http://www.psc-cfp.gc.ca/ppc-cpp/oltf-ftel/intro-eng.htm until March 15th. The new manual is being made available now so that you may become familiar with its content before it is implemented on March 16th, 2010. Please be sure NOT to use the new manual before then.
As of March 16th, you will use the new manual and you should discard any copies of the old manual that you might have.
