It doesn’t end there. jobs.gc.ca promises to position the federal government as the employer of choice and make it easier for job seekers to find job opportunities. Here is a glimpse of what to expect in the coming months.
A new and improved "Features" section on the Career Explorer will highlight featured jobs, employers and careers, along with profiles of employees who have something to say about their jobs as federal public servants.
Among a number of improvements to the job search feature, job seekers will be able to save search criteria for use on subsequent visits and do a search on the language profiles of a position.
The new "Quick Search" function on the home page can be copied as a customized widget for federal departments and agencies to use on their career Web pages. As a result, job seekers will be able to view the job opportunities available to them through a department or agency’s Web site.
