The help page is intended to help you navigate the Public Service Commission (PSC) Web site.

Accessibility Help

Increasing Text Size

To increase the text size on our Web pages, you can change the settings in your Web browser. Just follow the instructions below based on the browser you are using or see your browser's help for details.

Internet Explorer

1. Select "View" in the menu bar.
2. Select "Text Size".
3. Select "Larger" or "Largest".

Mozilla Firefox

1. Select "View" in the menu bar.
2. Select "Text Size".
3. Select "Increase".
4. To increase the text size further, continue selecting "Increase".

Opera

1. Select "View" in the menu bar.
2. Select "Zoom".
3. From the menu, select the size with which you would like to view the Web site.
4. To increase the text size further, increase the percentage.

Netscape

1. Select "View" in the menu bar.
2. Select "Text Size".
3. From the menu, select the size with which you would like to view the Web site.

Client-side CSS for enhancing accessibility

The design of the Web pages on this Web site are flexible enough to allow you to configure the visual presentation to meet your accessibility needs by using a client-side Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) file.

Most browsers provide the ability to specify a client-side CSS file, which would be applied to every Web page on this Web site that you visit. To take advantage of this feature, perform the following steps:

Document formats

All documents on the PSC Web site are available in HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) format. 

• PDF - Some documents are also posted in Adobe Acrobat format (*.pdf). In order to view these files, you may need to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader. The Reader is available free of charge from the Adobe Web site. If the Adobe download site is not accessible to you, use the accessible page on the Adobe site. If the accessibility of PDF is a concern, you can have the file converted to HTML or ASCII text by using one of the access services provided by Adobe.
• DOC or RTF - Some files are available in Microsoft Word or Rich Text formats (*.doc, *.rtf). To view these files you will need Microsoft Word Reader.
• XLS - Some files are available in Microsoft Excel format (*.xls). To view a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel format, you will need the Microsoft Excel Viewer.
• PPT - Some files are available in Microsoft PowerPoint format (*.ppt). To view these files you will need PowerPoint Presentation Viewer.

How to Enable JavaScript in Your Browser

Internet Explorer

1. From the top menu bar, select "Tools" and then "Internet Options."
2. On the "Security" Tab, select "Internet" and click on "Custom Level."
3. Scroll down to "Scripting", "Active Scripting" and make sure that it is enabled.
4. Click "OK" and confirm that you want to change the security settings for this zone.
5. Click "OK" again.

Mozilla Firefox

1. From the top menu bar, select "Tools" and then "Options."
2. On the "Content" tab, select "Enable JavaScript."
3. Click "OK" to confirm your selection.

Safari

1. From the top menu bar, select "Preferences."
2. On the "Content" tab, select "Enable JavaScript."
